    Reasons not to buy…

    9 hours of eighties music

You can shoot a guy’s leg off and he’ll hop around screaming as blood squirts high into the air, but will he fall off a cliff or write your name on the street in his own blood so police will know who killed him? — No

Ray Liotta is gonna do voices, but how about real mobsters like Tony Soprano and Sal “Big Pussy” Bompensiero? No

Can you build an army of crazed warrior monks to swarm through the streets, hacking people to bits for no reason at all and possibly causing them to rout? No

Are you gonna be able to save anywhere? Probably not

Will you be able to visit a sexy shrink to “talk about it”? No

It’s not on the Xbox. If it ain’t on Xbox, it sucks. Bottom line. Though I know it doesn’t have a multiplayer, how cool would it be to be able to play other people around the world on Xbox Live? Multiplayer GTA on the box, what could be better? And to be able to download add ons for GTA off the Xbox Live site, say extra levels or extra cars, oh how sweet would that be. But no, Sony has to come in and screw everything up, sign an exlcusive deal with Rockstar to keep GTA of Xbox. Well, since then, I have gotten rid of all Sony made things I own, gone right in the trash. Screw the Japs anyways, if I’m gonna put me into an economy, it’s gonna be in my own freakin one, not the Japs’. At any rate, PS2 will always be second rate, and no matter what any Sony presonnel do I will NEVER buy aother Sony made product again, NEVER. Sames goes for Rockstar Studios for signing that damn deal. Long live Xbox. Oh, and to all you anti-Xbox people, we do to have some kickass games out there, Halo, Fable, Sega GT, and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance (which won’t be coming out until mid-way through next year for you PS2 guys, AND we Xbox people, atleast thoughs who have Xbox Live, will be able to download new levels and challenges, unlike for PS2). And there are two types of controllers for Xbox, the big one’s you’re alweays complaining about, which, unlike the PS2 controllers, aren’t the size of remotes, and a second PS2 sized controller. Oh, and if you really like the PS2 controllers, they have adapters, which I believe are made by MadDog, the let you use Playstation, PSOne and PS2 controllers on the Xbox, just to put that argument to rest. LONG LIVE XBOX!!!

I think the GTA games are great and Vice City looks to continue that trend. However I think the game developers are being held back by not being allowed to produce the game for PC or XBOX where more advanced graphics can be used. I felt the PC version of GTA3 looked a lot better than the PS2 version. The reason for this is simply that the graphic system in PS2 can’t even compare to what’s in the XBOX or a PC, plus they both have internal hard drives. So in conclusion this game could be a lot better if it where produced for the PC or XBOX because of the superior graphics system.

I am not a PS2 hater but I know a lot about computers and graphic systems to tell you that the PS2 is inferior to its competition. I will admit the PS2 games have better game play right now and I am sure that Vice City falls into this category, but don’t expect XBOX not to catch up at some point. This is probably the reason SONY locked up the GTA games only for PS2.
